The Hermann Monument.
Erected in 1897, this unique historical monument was built in memory of an ancient Teutonic hero, Hermann of Cherusci. In 2000 the United States Congress declared it a national landmark celebrating the contributions of Americans of German descent.
The German Bohemian Monument.
Erected in 1991, it is dedicated to all the German Bohemian immigrants who settled in New Ulm and the area.
Glockenspiel.
One of the world's few freestanding carillon clock towers, the Glockenspiel stands 45 feet tall and features hourly chimes and mechanized figurines.
Wanda Gag House.
Gag was born March 11, 1893, to artist and photographer Anton Gag and his wife, Lissi, in New Ulm. She won a Pulitzer Prize for her children's classic, "Millions of Cats."
The Lind Home.
Built in 1887 by Minnesota's 14th Governor, John Lind, this stately house was often the center of the community's cultural activities.
Bavarian Blast
"Das Fest mit Fun" Come for the food and for the fun. A festival in downtown New Ulm, beautiful German Park and the famous George's Ballroom.
Oktoberfest.
A joint festival of the New Ulm Holiday Inn and the New Ulm Chamber of Commerce. This event features musical entertainment, including New Ulm's famous Concord Singers.
Fasching.
Fasching originated in the European Alps as a way to chase the winter away. That tradition is revived in New Ulm through this annual February celebration.
Minnesota Music Hall of Fame.
New Ulm is home to a celebration of music and musicians with Minnesota roots.
The Concord Singers.

The New Ulm Battery.

Schell's Brewery.

Way of the Cross.
Located at 14 points along a hill are unique, 93-year-old statues depicting the agony and crucifixion of Jesus Crist as related in the New Testament of The Bible.
