Bock Fest |
Help chase winter away at this ALL OUTDOOR EVENT. Gather around the bonfires, take a brewery tour and spend some time in the Museum of Brewing and Schell's gift shop. A Bock Medallion Hunt is the focus of the day through the brewery grounds and beautiful Flandrau State Park. A ''bock'' is an ancient symbol of winter-gruff and stubborn. Use the clues to help find all the ''bocks'' or goat medallions. Cash and merchandise prizes for the ''capturers'' Times: 11 am - 4:30 pm |

Fasching |
The Concord Singers sponsor Fasching (German Mardi Gras) at Turner Hall. Fasching originated in the European Alps to chase the winter away. The festival features good German food and beverages, arts and crafts, music, dancing and a costume contest (costumes encouraged, but not required). Times: 11 am - 11 pm |

Brown County Free Fair |
Highlights of the fair include a demolition derby on Wednesday and Saturday; a rodeo on Friday, and new- a combine Derby on Thursday. Special children, seniors and teen days and a variety of free entertainment throughout the grounds.
Activities start Wednesday 5 pm-midnight, Thursday through Saturday noon to midnight and Sunday noon to 5 pm |

This festival features musical entertainment including New Ulm's famous Concord Singers, and also provides good German food, including sauerkraut, landjaegers, German potato salad and apple strudel.
A craft show is held in Marktplatz Mall, downtown New Ulm; enjoy horse-drawn trolley rides past some of New Ulm's historic homes on Saturdays downtown. Times 6 pm-Friday; 11 am Saturday - 1 am |

Parade of Lights |
The Christmas Parade of Lights heralds the official arrival of Santa Claus to New Ulm. Over 30 units in the parade are covered with twinkling Christmas lights and takes place the Friday evening after Thanksgiving at 6 pm in downtown New Ulm. Start Time: 6 pm |
